Star Wars Episode VIII Title Revealed

Lucas Films and Disney just revealed the title of the Episode VIII.

It’s called: THE LAST JEDI

Lucas Films released the following statement:

We have the greatest fans in this or any other galaxy. In appreciation of the fans, we wanted them to be the first to know the title of the next chapter in the Skywalker saga: STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI. THE LAST JEDI is written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski. STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI is scheduled for release December 15, 2017.

I think the title is great even though it’s deviating from the format most previous episodes followed (it’s not talking about the dark side and their allies).

One thing that we can be sure of is that there WILL be an opening crawl unlike Rogue One.

Who do you think is The Last Jedi? Because Luke is alive and he’s a Jedi. However, Rey can go on to become a Jedi under Luke’s training. But Rey being the last Jedi would mean something unpleasant might happen to Luke.

There’s another theory that says that Kylo Ren (or Ben) can turn to the Light side and maybe he can become the last Jedi.

I don’t know what’s happening next yet, but I’m sure excited as hell.

What do you think about the title? Tell me in comments below.
